After Ash had two weeks off racing due to a wrist injury,
he then had the real start of the season with the Hawkstone
International.
Ash qualified well in 23rd place.
Race 1 Ash had a reasonable start keeping consistent and finished
in 11th position.
Race 2 and again a good start with Ash in 14th position in
the opening laps but the injury to his wrist took its toll
after not having ridden for the past two weeks and Ash dropped
back to finish in 19th position.
A respectable 16th overall finish Ash took the decision to
pull out of the final combined race and rest his arm, which
turned out to be a good decision as the race was later cancelled.
