This weekend Ash was at Dessertmartin for the Maxxis British Championship.
He qualified 17th but only 2.8 seconds off the pace which is his best yet in the British Championship.
Race 1 Ash had a poor start but rode well, mid way through the race he lost his brakes due to the stones which thankfully worked their way back out but he also had a problem with the clutch. He finished the race in 14th
Race 2 Ash had a better start. 10th around the first corner, but Campano cut him up in the back section bringing him to a dead stop. Ash lost a number of places dropping back to 17th but he made up ground and finished in 13th.
Overall at the weekend Ash finished in 16th but he did pull a position back in the overall Championship standings to finish in 15th.
Sun 17th June
After missing Rhayader on Wednesday with a muscle injury. Ash was back this weekend for the British Masters in Hawkstone Park.
Ash qualified in 10th place and wasn't too happy.
Race 1 Ash had an excellent start behind Brad Anderson & Lewis Gregory.
He was challenging Stephen Sword for most of the race both of them passing each other back, but Ash made a mistake on the steps and Sword and Alex Snow passed him. Sword made a mistake in the same place on the next lap and Ash passed him back. The last lap Snow collided with a back marker allowing ash to pass and finish in 4th behind Anderson, Gregory and Ray Rowson.
Race 2 and again Ash had a brilliant start behind Sword, but Anderson and Gregory had the edge and also passed Ash during the lap. Sword took a tumble and Ash moved up to third. Anderson then had a bike problem and had to pull off leaving Ash to finish 2nd.
Overall Ash finished 2nd and maintains his lead in the Championship.

Next weekend it's over to Ireland for the Maxxis British Championship.
Sun 3rd June
The weekend Ash was at Langrish for the Maxxis Championship.
Ash qualified 18th.
Race 1 and Ash had a good start out of the gate but went down on the first turn. He couldn't start the bike and started off over 1 minute behind the pack. Ash pushed hard and managed to finish 21st.
Race 2 and again Ash couldn't start the bike to go to the line so he had to wait for everyone to go before getting the bike to start. He chased after the pack and managed to pick his way through to 17th.
21st overall on the day and finishing 16th overall in the series, not a good weekend but Ash was OK and will be looking to improve in the series.
