This Saturday Ash had a training day with Dave Thorpe and on Sunday he was at Matchams.
Ash rode well in practice.
1st race Ash spun on the gate and was dead last, he rode well through the field to finish 3rd behind Brad Anderson and Alan Keet.
2nd race and another disaster as Ash's gate didn't drop and again he started from dead last, this time he wasn't so lucky as he also stalled the bike trying too hard to catch up and then after getting back to 3rd dropped the bike on the last lap and dropped a few places.
3rd race and at last a good start, Ash and Keet got away and were side by side when Keet lost a chain but Brad who came from the back of the pack on his 450 passed Ash on the last lap to take the win and leave Ash to finish 2nd.

Next weekend Ash will be at the ACU Presentation Day on Saturday and Polesworth on Sunday.

Last Thursday Ash & his family travelled over to Dortmund, Germany for the Supercross.
Friday morning Ash went out for timed qualifying and came 4th which put him straight through to the Main Event in the evening.
Friday night Ash rode well finishing 6th and 5th in his two races giving him 5th overall.

Saturday and Ash qualified 5th taking him straight through to the evening's main event.
Race 1 Ash finished 8th, and 7th in race 2 giving him 6th overall for the evening.

Sunday qualifying Ash had a big off when he landed the triple a bit short sending him over the bars head first. He was a bit dazed but thankfully only cut his eye. He was lying in 7th a non qualifying position so he got back on the bike to put in his best qualifying lap and finish in 3rd.
Sunday night saw Ashley's best races with a 4th place finish in heat 1 and again in heat 2 he was heading for another 4th when he got block passed and lost control going down just before the last lap leaving him to finish in 9th. Still he finished 5th overall for the evening.

Overall for the three days Ash finished in 5th behind Tarroux(FRA), Izoird(FRA), Renner(USA) and Chittaro(GER).

Next weekend will be at Matchams.
